PRIZE DRAW TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Pocher x evo 2026 prize draw (the “Promotion”)
General
1. Promoter: The Promoter is Carwow Studio Ltd of 2nd Floor, 10 Bressenden Place, London, SW1E 5DH, United Kingdom, registered in England and Wales with company number 13018565.
2. Provider: The Provider is Hornby Hobbies Limited (trading as Pocher UK) of Enterprise Road, Westwood Industrial Estate, Margate, England, CT9 4JX, United Kingdom, registered in England and Wales with company number 02065081.
3. Duration of Promotion: This Promotion will run from 00:00 on 8th April 2026 to 23:59 on 26th November 2026 inclusive (the “Promotion Period”). Outside of this time, entries will not be accepted.
4. Prize Draws: During the Promotion Period there will be three (3) separate prize draws. One (1) winner will be drawn at random from all eligible entries on or after each of the following dates: 10th June 2026, 2nd September 2026, and 26th November 2026.
5. Eligibility: The prize draw is open to all subscribers of evo magazine who: (i) have an active subscription on the dates confirmed below; and (ii) are aged 18 years or over; and (iii) are not employees of the Promoter, the Provider, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw. Only one entry per active subscriber per draw. You are eligible for the Prize Draw if you are an existing or new subscriber with a confirmed and active subscription on the following dates:
- June Draw: 10th June 2026.
- September Draw: 2nd September 2026.
- November Draw: 26th November 2026.
6. Prize(s): There are three (3) prizes available in total, with one (1) prize awarded per draw. Each prize consists of one (1) Pocher 1:8 scale model car kit up to the maximum value of £1255, as featured on Pocher.com. The specific model awarded is at the sole discretion of the Provider, is subject to stock availability at the time the winner is contacted and the prize excludes pre-order products.
7. Notification: The Promoter will notify the winner of each prize draw via the email address they provided to fulfil and manage their subscription to evo magazine. The winner of each prize draw must reply to the email to acknowledge receipt and confirm their acceptance of the prize within seven (7) days of the email being sent by the Promoter. If a reply is not received within the seven (7) days another winner will be picked at random. This will be repeated as necessary. The email will confirm details of how to claim the prize from the Provider and the winner will be responsible for providing accurate delivery details to the Provider.
8. Entry: Other than the cost of the magazine subscription, no purchase is necessary to participate in the Promotion. Provided you do have an active subscription and you meet the eligibility criteria set out above you will be automatically entered into the prize draw.
9. Publicity: The Promoter and/or the Provider may wish to refer to the winner in any publicity or other information that indicates the prize draw took place and who the prizes were awarded to. If the winner objects to such information about them being made available publicly, contact the Promoter at cwsteam@carwow.co.uk when confirming acceptance of the prize. In any event, notification that the winner does not wish to enter into publicity does not prevent the Promoter or the Provider from confirming information and entry details to any regulatory body if required to do so.
Promotion Terms
10. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions on entry.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend this Promotion and/or the Prize Draw at any time.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entrants from the Prize Draw including if winners do not reply to the Promoter’s notification email to confirm that they accept the Prize by the date set out in clause 7.
13. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
14. Once the Prize has been accepted by the winner, the arrangements to confirm the exact Prize, and delivery of it to the winner(s) are the sole responsibility of the Provider. Delivery of the Prize shall take place around 14 days after the winner has selected the model and it has been confirmed by the Provider.
15. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for the Prize itself, including any inaccurate descriptions, issues with delivery (including any delays in delivery), or the quality, fitness for purpose or satisfactory performance of the Prize. The provision of this Prize Draw or of any Prizes does not imply endorsement by the Promoter of any third parties concerned with the Prizes, including the Provider.
16. The Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the Prizes with alternative prizes of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's or the Provider’s control makes it necessary to do so.
18. The Promoter may refuse entries, or to award the prizes, if we discover or reasonably believe that the entries are incomplete, fraudulent, or do not follow these terms.
19. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Prize where it becomes necessary to do so, at any time, to the extent reasonable.
20. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the Prize Draw is final and binding and no correspondence shall be entered into about it.
21. This Prize Draw is not affiliated with any of the Promoter’s or Provider’s third party licensing partners.
Liability
22. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners, and do not accept any liability for any losses or damages incurred by the entrants, or for personal injury or death occurring as a result of this Prize Draw except where death or personal injury is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Statutory rights are not affected.
23. The Promoter will not be responsible for (and will have no liability in connection with) acts, omissions and occurrences beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, including but not limited to: a) any postponement or cancellation of the Prize Draw; b) any changes to the nature of the Prizes or the way in which they can be used; c) problems with the allotment or dispatch of Prizes (such as Prizes failing to reach the intended recipient); d) any act, omission or default of any third party supplier - such as the Provider; and e) a loss of or damage to the Prize, whether before or after the winner’s receipt of it.
Personal Data
24. The promoter is a data controller in accordance with applicable data protection laws and confirms that it will comply with all applicable data protection laws in the processing of personal data. 25. By participating in the Promotion, entrants acknowledge that the Promoter (and its group companies on its behalf), may process, store, distribute and/or use the information entrants provide for purposes which are in the Promoter’s legitimate interests under data protection laws, including: (i) to enable it to administer this Promotion including deciding whether an entry accords with these terms; (ii) to share the winners’ names and email addresses with the Provider for the purpose of designing and dispatching the Prizes and arranging follow-up directly with the winners; or (iii) to publish the details of who the winners were (unless the winner has expressly confirmed that it does not consent to such publication); or (iv) for any other reasonable purpose related to the Prize or the Promotion.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
26. These terms shall be governed by English law. If any entrants to the Promotion wish to take action in relation to the prize draw or Promotion they must do so within the courts of England and Wales.
